Summer Swim Program July 11-15

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Due to the shortage of certified lifeguards, our swim program will be limited.
This year’s swim lessons will be levels 1 and 2. Students can begin swim lessons at the age of 4, it is recommended that they start at the level I. Students must pass the previous level 1 to be in level 2. The class will be offered July 11-15. Please read the description and recommendations carefully and feel free to ask questions by calling the office or sending an email.

Registration Opens Friday June 10

Level I: Water Exploration: The Red cross program begins here, and children can begin this level at the age of 4, if they are comfortable in the water. This level teaches elementary skills, such as floating with support, putting their face in the water, kicking and an introduction to arm action for the front crawl. A parent or guardian should be prepared to go in the water at the instructor’s request.

Level II: Primary Skills: This level adds to the skills from Level I, but focuses on independent floating and front and back swimming. Students must be comfortable putting their face in the water on request in order to be in this level.

Please give each group careful consideration before choosing the appropriate level for your swimmer. It is better for a child to feel confident and successful in their lessons, rather than be afraid and not ready for the next level.

*Please note that there is a processing fee when paying with a credit card.
