REGISTRATION OPENS November 19, 2024
This program is for MAUSD residents. Spots are limited and the goal is to rebuild the MAUSD Varsity cheer team.
Heather Dwire and Ashley Bessette will be the coaches for the 2024-25 Youth Cheer season.  Participants should wear CLEAN sneakers and comfortable clothes with their hair pulled up.  Participants should also bring a water bottle.  All classes will take place at the New Haven Town Hall Gym.  Parents/Guardians can wait downstairs while the class takes place.

Intro to Cheerleading
Thursdays 5:15 pm-6:00 pm
12/5, 12/12, 12/19,1/2, 1/9,1/16, 1/23, 1/30
1st- 4th graders (for 3rd & 4th graders who have never cheered before or do not want to compete)
Cost: $75 
Cheerleaders will learn the basics of cheer including stunting, jumps, dancing and tumbling. Participants must come in comfortable clothing with their hair tied up and a change of dry indoor shoes. Please send a water bottle. Parents can wait downstairs in the cafeteria during practice. This group will NOT be competing.

Competitive Cheerleading Team
Thursdays 6:00 pm- 7:15 pm
Fridays 5:30 pm-6:45 pm
12/5, 12/6, 12/12,12/13, 12/19, ½, 1/3, 1/9, 1/10,1/16, 1/17, 1/23,1/24, 1/30, 1/31

For 5th-7th graders and 3rd-4th graders who cheered last year.
Cost: $125 

This is a competitive team which means cheerleaders must come focused and ready to work! We need all participants to arrive on time and attend consistently. Cheerleaders are responsible for providing white cheer shoes and black spandex shorts/skorts for competition. A cheer top and hair bows will be provided for the competitions. Please send a water bottle. Parents can wait downstairs in the cafeteria during practice or drop off and pick up.

January 25, 2024 CVCC @ Rutland Middle School
February 1st, 2025 NVAC @ South Burlington High School
