REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 2nd, 2026 at 7:00 am.
River Sports Camp offers a week of hiking, swimming, exploration, games & more! The Bristol Rec has a van that we take to different places around this area. One of our favorite places to go is Sycamore Park.
Campers should be willing to do it all. A great deal of time is spent outside and near water. The ability to swim is strongly suggested. A letter will be sent home a week before camp with information about the week’s activities and what to bring.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENTS
For your child’s safety and to meet legal requirements, all campers who are required by age or height to use a car seat must have one provided and ready for use by a parent. The car seat must be:
- Non-expired
- Fully functional
- Properly sized for your child
Campers will be transported in our Recreation Van during field trips. If your child does not have the required car seat ready on the day of the trip, they will not be allowed to attend.
It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure the car seat is brought, labeled, and ready for staff to install.
We understand this may be an extra step, but it is essential to keeping every camper safe and legally protected. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Please bring extra snacks, your child will be burning a lot of energy and will need it to complete a fun and exciting day!
*The July camp is Pay What You Can with a minimum of $50.00
USE THE DONATE BUTTON TO REGISTER: We are back offering a pay system called "Pay What You Can." You can pay a minimum of $50.00 (actual cost for the camp, $300.00) or whatever you can afford.
The Bristol Recreation will cover the rest of the cost through our scholarship account. Feeling generous for our community? You can also support other campers by paying a little more to cover scholarship costs.
