Bristol Hub Anglers Camp - Bristol Young Anglers Camp - 3day PLEASE USE THE DROP-DOWN MENU WHEN CHECKING OUT WITH YOUR CREDIT CARDThe Bristol Angler's Camp & Youth Angler Camp is an adventure into all aspects of Fly-Fishing and Spin-Fishing. We will be exploring the finer details of being an angler and how to catch specific species, casting lessons with both fly rods and spinning rods, forage identification (entomology and life cycles of bugs, bait-fish, and locating them in local habitats), fish life cycles and identification, and rigging/knot tying. We will be working both inside and outside during the class with some of the activities being, fly-tying, material selection, bait making/lure making, fish art, swimming (for the teen camp), river walks, lake side fishing (no boats, only feet). We will be taking trips to local fisheries to best identify and catch native and stocked species. Learning to apply the techniques necessary for best seasonal approaches as well as learning best practices for catch and release will be a big part of our journey through the week. Please bring water shoes or an old pair of sneakers, a change of clothes, any specific bug repellent or sunscreen you may need (otherwise basics will be provided), a hat, polarized sunglasses are always a plus for being able to see fish through the glare - if not just a normal pair will do! Water bottle for hydrating through the day (if you need one just ask) Put it all in your favorite pack for outdoor adventure and it will be safely stowed at the Hub or with us in the van. All of this is a suggestion for comfort through the day and not a requirement. Youth Angler Camp will run for 3 days June 29-July 1st : 8am-3pmBristol Angler Camp runs for 5 days July 27-31st : 8am-3pmThank you to RACK 'N REEL for support with equipment!
