We’re so excited to welcome your child on July 13th for The Monologue Sessions! A monologue is a short speech performed by one actor, usually expressing a character’s thoughts, feelings, or story directly to the audience. It’s a wonderful way for young performers to build confidence, creativity, and expressive skills.During our time together, campers will develop characters in a warm, supportive, and joyful environment. Our days will include script writing, set design, rehearsal, and a final performance for our community on July 17th at 5:00 PM.Questions? Please email Alison at campdabica1@gmail.com Sample Daily Schedule:Drop-off: 8:45-9:00 AMMorning Meeting: 9:00 AMTheater Session: 9:15-10:30 AMSnack / Walk to Pool: 10:30–11:00 AM(Please pack swim clothes, towels, a change of clothes, and a snack.)Swim / Walk Back to Howden Hall: 11:00–12:00 PMLunch & Theater Session: 12:00–3:00 PM(Please pack, water, and other non-caffeinated beverages.)Snack: 2:15 PM(Please pack a snack.)Theater Closure & Pick-Up: 2:45-3:00 PMSpecial Note: Friday, July 17th, will be our longest day, as campers will perform their monologues at 5:30 PM. We’ll provide pizza and drinks beforehand, so please plan for your camper to stay through showtime.We can’t wait to create, laugh, and perform together — it’s going to be a wonderful week!
