After a busy day at school, come to the relaxed atmosphere of the clay studio. Students will focus on both hand-building and wheel-building, which will develop the diverse skills of a potter while bringing their ideas into form. All work will be glazed and fired to take home.16+ can also sign up for the evening classes.No classes during the school break in February or April. There is Vacation Clay Camp offered during these times. Instructor: Andie AsackerAndie AsackerAndie is a lifelong artist and creative. She has studied many art forms and traditional handcrafts including drawing, painting, sewing, basketry, and crochet. Most recently—upon moving to Bristol in 2020—Andie began studying pottery under the tutelage of Matlak Mayforth. She has past experience in children’s recreational programming and is looking forward to returning to the role of creative facilitator and guide.
