Mountain Bike Camps - Mtn Bike Summer Camp (July) Our Mountain Bike Camps are Currently Full. The Bristol Recreation Department is committed to providing a safe experience for all campers, parents, and staff. Staff will follow all of the above guidelines and/or any additional guidelines provided by the State of Vermont or the CDC. Bristol Recreation Department is excited to offer a mountain bike skills camp by Professional Mountain Bike Instructors (PMBI), Meridith McFarland. The camp will be based out of the Hub Teen Center and will have access to the trails, parks, and skills field. Riders will learn bike handling skills, basic bike maintenance, and trail etiquette. Riders should be comfortable on their bikes. Mountain bikes should be in good working order, have gears and hand brakes.We have partnered again with our local outdoor gear shop, Cool Motion Outdoor Sports. Chris Morrissey and his crew will be on hand on the first day of camp to look over your kiddos bike to ensure the bike is in safe working condition. CMOS will also be presenting the bike mechanics portion of the camp.We will have a few bikes for campers to borrow during camp.
