The Bristol Recreation Department and Bristol CORE are running a free "Open Play" playgroup at Holley Hall on Wednesdays and all are welcome! Here's a fun, indoor activity for your baby, toddler or preschooler, and a chance to meet local parents.Due to limited storage space, it will be a BRING YOUR OWN bike/trike/walker/car/ball etc. There will be a small collection of things on hand, but we encourage all parents to bring at least one item to share.With plenty of smooth wooden floor (and soft mats) at their disposal, imagine how far your kids will go!

Tai Chi is an enjoyable exercise of a slow smooth continuous set of forms. Besides focusing on Mind-Body Coordination and Mindfulness, studies have shown it to be effective in improving hypertension, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, balance and in relieving stress. Tai Chi Vermont Certified Instructor Jerry Henderson looks forward to leading you through the basic principles of Tai Chi in the Yang Style while learning the 24 forms in a step by step format. No experience is necessary for this class, all students welcome.

Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises.Safe Sitter® program includes instruction in babysitting skills and techniques that include Safety Skills, Child Care Skills, First Aid & Rescue Skills & Life & Business Skills. Lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students get to practice choking rescue and diapering.

Instructor Seny Daffe grew up in Guinea, West Africa where he was trained by various master instructors and has taught and performed throughout Africa, Europe and the US.  This is a drop in class.   Location: Holley Hall Instructor: Seny Daffe  Sundays September-June 5-6:30pm
